The role involves working in the showroom and in customers’ homes. Weekend availability is preferred.

Compensation

$40,000–$80,000 per year, as advertised.

Competitive commission structure with a secure guarantee and unlimited income potential. Quarterly performance incentives are also offered.

About the Role

Paramount Home & Design is seeking an enthusiastic Sales and Design Associate to join its team of sales and design professionals. This role combines furniture sales with interior design and décor guidance, helping customers create functional, thoughtfully coordinated spaces.

The successful candidate will bring a strong sense of style, attention to detail and a confident, relaxed selling approach.

Responsibilities

  • Create functional floor plans suited to customers’ homes and needs.
  • Recommend and sell appropriate furniture and products from the showroom’s extensive selection.
  • Coordinate fabrics and colours to create cohesive interiors.
  • Guide customers through their selections with confidence and persuasive, attentive service.
  • Work with customers both in the showroom and in their homes.
  • Track orders diligently while developing and growing your sales business.

Qualifications

  • Three years of sales experience required.
  • Three years of high-end sales experience preferred.
  • Interior design or décor skills, with a passion for furniture and design.
  • Ability to create functional floor plans and coordinate furniture, fabrics and colours.
  • Confident, relaxed selling style and the ability to guide customers effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills, diligence and attention to detail.
  • Comfort working in both a retail showroom and customers’ homes.
  • Weekend availability preferred.
